About CCPAS

Established in 1977, CCPAS is the only independent Christian charity providing professional advice, support, training and resources in all areas of safeguarding children and adults at risk of harm.

We exist to safeguard both children and adults throughout the UK. We also work to help those who are, or have been, affected by abuse and harm.

CCPAS is consulted and used by places of worship and organisations across the christian spectrum. We also assist other faith groups and a wide variety of statutory agencies and non-faith organisations keen to benefit from our resources and expertise.

We regularly provide to local and national government, safeguarding boards, children's social care, adult social services, police forces (and national crime agencies such as CEOP), probation services, healthcare trusts, voluntary bodies and other agencies across the UK.

We are members or partners with a wide range of bodies and groups, including:

  • United Kingdom Council for Child Internet Safety (UKCCIS)
  • Child Exploitation and Online Protection centre (CEOP, part of the National Crime Agency).
  • Evangelical Alliance (EA)
  • Children England
  • Christian Helplines Association (CHA)
  • Association of Christian Counsellors (ACC)
